The game sticks to old arcade roots, though difficult in nature, brings fun challenges for those new to the world of fighters, and exotic concepts for veteran players of the traditional fighting game genre!

Hi! I wanted to leave a detailed review because I really enjoyed the game.

The game's style is fantastic! The characters, animations, and especially the movesets are all at a very high level. You can feel the soul and attention to detail. The characters are fun to play, the animations are dynamic, and the game looks really cool visually.

Unfortunately I ran into a serious issue in netplay.

When playing online with a friend in the first few seconds of the match a Desync Error appears and kicks us back to the character select screen. The connection itself works fine there is no disconnect just the error and kick.

We tried to fix it ourselves:

Changed the Rollback.FrameDelay values in config.ini (tried different numbers) didn't help.

Downloaded a clean nightly build of Ikemen GO in it netplay works stably.

Copied only chars and system.def to the clean build the characters played perfectly online.

As soon as we started transferring the rest of the files (effects stages arenas etc) everything broke again.

We tried fixing the file paths in system.def and in the config files but nothing helped.

It seems the problem is caused by some files paths or dependencies in the full game build and not by the characters themselves. In a clean Ikemen GO build everything works correctly.

I would really appreciate it if you could look into this issue. The game has huge potential and I really want to play it with friends without crashes.

yeah i went to the discord and figured it out, however i can't use it at the moment :sob:

stick ppl fighting games will always be peak

we got yomi hustle, a few quick matches, and now nodebreaker.
